Meet Nige

Welcome! I'm Nige, I've been passionate about photography ever since I was a child and have over 20 years' experience behind the camera. My work spans creative, editorial, art and nude photography.

My journey began when I was 12 years old, my mother gave me a camera to go on a school trip to Menai in North Wales. I think I spent the entire week taking photos of everything. Fast forward to being 15 years old, going into my last year of high school and having to choose a "career path" for work experience week... ugh. No idea. Hmmm, a shop, that‘ll be easy. A week in a shop.... I ended up choosing a chemist that was in Crewe town centre, next to Asda... easy I thought. Get the bus, hopefully do very little, go home, done... Wrong! On my first day, they put me on the photographic counter, by the end of the day I was absolutely obsessed and asked to be on that counter all week. I even went in on the Saturday (sad I know) and worked there throughout the summer. That summer I must have taken at least 1000 photographs. I shot everything and everyone. Something had clicked; this is what I was meant to do. Over the years I taught myself as much as I could, studied hard in college and had my camera in hand at every opportunity.

My aesthetic has evolved considerably over the years, as my confidence in different genres grew and as I worked with different types of models. Throughout it all though, one thing has been steady... Help the model feel relaxed and comfortable on set, and help them to look and feel sexy, confident and free.

There is no better feeling when working with a model than seeing their face light up or smile when they see what we have done.

To all the models I have worked with, thank you for inspiring me, challenging me to create, bringing life to my ideas and without you this would be a website filled with shots of empty rooms. You inspire me to pick up my camera, and I am eternally grateful.
